Sexual Health Service
Contraception services, STI screening, cervical smears, pregnancy support and decision making including specialist teenage pregnancy support, counselling, sexual therapy, as well as vasectomy services.
We also provide specialist support for patients and families living with HIV and GPs who look after them. Our HIV services include psychological support, routine assessments and monitoring including bloods, cervical smears and contraception, and vaccines, prescribing medication and signposting to specialists and support groups
Variety of venues including schools, community and health centres and youth clubs as well as hospitals. The majority of services are provided from the main centres, listed below. For North Tyneside: One to One Centre Brenkley Avenue Shiremoor NE27 0PR For Northumberland: Morpeth Clinic Gas House Lane Morpeth NE61 1SR Our HIV services are provided for patients at home, in our hospitals and at the One to One Centre and Morpeth Clinic listed above.
Monday to Wednesday, 9am -7.30pm
Thursday, 12.30pm-7.30pm, Friday, 9am-7.30pm
Saturday, 9.30am-1.30pm at Shiremoor One to One Centre
Daily clinics Monday-Friday across Northumberland, with late openings Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at Morpeth Clinic.
In addition appointments 10am-2pm every Saturday at Blyth Community Hospital in the Thomas Knight Day Unit. Please note this excludes HIV clinics.
